SOLANO COUNTY, CA (MPG) - Last week, Solano Area officers took action to keep our communities safe by apprehending three DUI drivers and removing three illegal firearms from the streets.
SOLANO COUNTY, CA (MPG) - Last week, Solano Area officers took action to keep our communities safe by apprehending three DUI drivers and removing three illegal firearms from the streets.
On March 1, officers stopped behind a vehicle on the shoulder. The driver was ultimately arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs. During a vehicle inventory, officers located a loaded firearm which did not have a serial number on it. The driver was booked on DUI and weapons charges.
On March 7, officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs. During a vehicle inventory, officers located a loaded handgun. The driver was determined to be a felon in unlawful possession of a firearm and was booked on DUI and various weapons charges.
On March 8, officers stopped another vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs. During a vehicle inventory, officers located another loaded handgun. The driver was determined to be a felon in unlawful possession of a firearm and was booked on DUI and various weapons charges.
