SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - As part of the California State Assembly’s annual celebration of Women’s History Month, I am honored to recognize Rosie Buck as the 7th Assembly District’s Woman of the Year for 2025. Rosie’s leadership and dedication to community growth, small businesses, and public service have made a lasting impact in Carmichael and throughout our region.

Rosie Buck is a distinguished entrepreneur and philanthropist committed to strengthening local economies and fostering community vitality. She is the President of the Carmichael Chamber of Commerce, where she plays a pivotal role in uniting businesses and community members to promote regional success. In addition to her leadership at the Chamber, Rosie remains actively involved in her family’s auto shop, Buck Family Automotive, where she contributes in various office capacities.

Beyond her professional achievements, Rosie is a dedicated volunteer, serving in leadership roles on multiple nonprofit boards and actively contributing to four distinct service organizations. A passionate advocate for community development, she sits on the Carmichael Improvement District Board and plays a key role in organizing major Park District events. She and her husband also serve on the San Juan School District Advisory Board, where they provide curriculum feedback and help facilitate automotive internships for students.

Please join me in congratulating Rosie Buck for this well-deserved recognition as the 7th Assembly District’s Woman of the Year for 2025. Her unwavering dedication to our community, small businesses, and local service organizations continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many. We are grateful for her leadership and commitment, thank you, Rosie, for all that you do!
