Partisan Political Ploy

President Obama just announced his pick for the Supreme Court.

Now, he’s trying to force the Senate into a rushed confirmation process. He’s trying to force his political will on the American people. That’s not how the Constitution works.

The American people deserve a voice. It’s not about the person; it’s about the principle.

It’s the principle President Obama’s political allies agreed with just a few short years ago. Now, when President Obama wants to make his imperialist policies permanent, they are ignoring the Constitution and the Senate’s vital role. It’s a partisan political ploy.

We won’t stand for it. We’re mobilizing every resource at the ACLJ to defend the Constitution, the Senate’s role, and the voice of the American people.

We’re aggressively working in Congress, demanding no confirmation hearings until after the election. Senate leadership announced they agree with our position.

But now we need to keep the pressure up.

Sign Our Petition: No SCOTUS Confirmation Before the Election.
