NewsMax-David Axelrod, President Barack Obama’s senior adviser and chief strategist during his successful White House runs in 2008 and 2012, took to Twitter Monday to suggest that the struggling Hillary Clinton campaign’s problem is the candidate herself.
Axelrod’s tweet read:
When the exact same problems crop up in separate campaigns, with different staff, at what point do the principals say, “Hey, maybe it’s US?”

Clinton is expected to lose Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary to Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, and her campaign has been jarred by a recent poll showing her once-enormous national lead over the self-described “democratic socialist” has evaporated.
Clinton’s three-point lead over Sanders in a Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted Feb. 2 to 5 is within the five-point statistical margin of error. Democrats had been supporting Clinton by more than a 2-to-1 margin at the beginning of the year.
